The title—Tlytiettlym (pronounced Tly-tita-lum)—an acronym for “The Love You Take Is Equal To The Love You Make,” relays a delightful story with lots of humor. Two “clicks” of children are competing for social acceptance. They finally merge with all the members needing to work together to find a magical tree. The Tlytiettlym branches bear the bountiful fruit from all the earth. Harvesting requires lots of love and collaboration. Once gathered the fruit is taken to the children’s village to heal everyone who eats it.
Inspired by a Paul McCartney concert, and written to raise money to send the author’s class to perform plays for autistic children nationwide, this treasure will capture your heart and your children’s minds for years to come. |
