What can you do?

First, drink plenty of clean, high ph water – Not chlorinated or fluoridated. When pathogens and chemicals are dislodged from the cells they must be washed out of your body.

Secondly, eat a diet that helps your body maintain the correct acidity-alkalinity balance. According to the ideal diet should have a natural ratio of four parts alkaline to one part acid. The pH scale goes from 0 to 14, with 0 the most acidic, and 14 the most alkaline. Our pH should stay on the alkaline side: between 7.35 and 7.45.  Avoid or eliminate acid foods such as coffee, tea, vinegar, meat, beer, soft drinks, artificial sweeteners, etc.   Consume more alkalizing foods such as green leafy vegetables, lemons or lemon water, greet tea, vegetable juices, olive oil, onions, asparagus, almonds, etc. 

** Common symptoms of an unbalanced pH include heartburn (a burning sensation in the stomach and acid-tasting burps), bloating, belching, and feeling full after eating small amounts of food. Other symptoms could include insomnia, water retention, migraines, constipation with diarrhea, fatigue, a burning sensation on the tongue and in the mouth, and halitosis.

Why are we so acidic? Today's modern diet is mainly composed of processed foods; in particular food preservatives.
